Teacher Nita is currently living in Los Angeles, California. Born in São Paulo, Brazil, and later moving to the United States at a young age, she had to grow up with multiple languages, including English, which she has been teaching for over 10 years.
Starting in 2008 at a small private ESL (English as a Second Language) school in Fort Lee, New Jersey, she had dreams of traveling and educating the world. In 2010, she moved to South Korea and began teaching at private schools, universities, and companies that were considered best in the country. During her time in Korea, she earned a TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) Certificate and a master's degree from one of the top international TESOL programs in the country, Sookmyung Women's University. In 2013, she was invited to the KOTESOL conference and presented on the use of mobile phones for learning English as a Second Language.
From September 2018 until March 2020, she worked at EC Los Angeles English School in Santa Monica, California as one of their top teachers. Since 2020, she has been using social media platforms to teach students not only in the States, but all over the world with @englishwithnita!
